Late posting AGAIN sorry

Weekly View
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another late post i will try & keep the posts to a Sunday, This last week has seen most of the trees & bushes suddenly burst into bud & the leaves have started to crack open, I've enjoyed walking round & tasting the Apple peel flavour of spring fresh HAWTHORNE LEAF absolutly delicious, so is the fresh tips of the BRAMBLE (blackberry) bush suck in air as you chomp on a LEAF & they taste of Coconut (PLEASE REMEMBER FOLKS TO SEEK EXPERT MEDICAL ADVICE BEFORE EATING WILD FOODS).

When you walk round Swanholme Lakes Nature Reserve you'll notice some of the wildflowers have bloomed, please DO NOT BE SELFFISH & pick them so that only you get to appreciate their splendour, leave them & let others enjoy their colour & cheerfulness, remember it is ILLEGAL to pick & take plants from the wild so don't be surprised if someone taps you on the shoulder & hands you a fine.

The Volunteers were out being mega busy again clearing some Rhododendron & Brash,I really look forward to these Wednesday afternoons as they are a fantastic crowd, We have a good banter & laugh as well as the obligatory Tea break, so please do not be shy come along to the best gym in the world the outdoor gym & hey guess what even better it's FREE !!! so why pay extortionate Gym fees when this will do a much better job at getting you fit & keeping you agile as you help in keeping Swanholme Lakes Nature Reserve the beautiful place it is. (please contact the Rangers for more info)
