The weather has been cracking this last couple of weeks & plenty has been going on in Swanholme Lakes Nature reserve.
There's only one drawback from having this nice weather & that is it warms the stones & the SPACKTARDS crawl out & resurface !!

There was remains of tent & dossbag plus bottles & tins of alcohol from Carling/stella to Vodka & Malibu & enough food to feed a platoon. pocket money eh !!
A Volunteer cleared up the Mess that the kids had left just "enjoying" themselves

The Rangers have been busy in Swanholme Lakes Nature Reserve, A lot of the broken fences & benches have been repaired or replaced, they've also been in cutting plants/trees back .




On one of my Bimbles round Swanholme Lakes Naute Reserve i noticed a few of the Silver Birch trees have a lot of this fine web covering the trees base, I'd like to know what insect/spider it is.
