I've not been in Swanholme Lakes Nature Reserve for a week or so because of MAN FLU !!
Last week the VOLUNTEERS were back in Swanholme Lakes Nature Reserve clearing more Rhododendron, they were a good crowd friendly & jovial, We had help from the Rangers Ruth & Colin.







On my walks round i've noticed a couple of headless Gull corpses so it looks like the FOXES have been busy

As it was the "Spring Equinox" last weekend i managed to get out & do some Sap Tapping, this SAP is from a Birch tree it tastes just like ice cold bottled water with a very slight acidic taste.
